2026 ELR Matches
Extreme Long Range
ELR matches test the limits of rifle and shooter - engaging targets at distances from 1,000 to 3,500+ yards. Major ELR events push equipment, ballistic computation, and wind reading to the extreme.
ELR shooters use custom rifles chambered in cartridges from .338 Lapua to .50 BMG and beyond. Matches may include both Light (up to .338) and Heavy (up to .50) classes. Hitting a 2 MOA target at two miles is routine for top competitors.
